About the Journal

The Ife Business Law Review is a peer-reviewed academic publication of the Department of Business Law, Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. The Journal is a specialized journal committed to publication of scholarly works of high quality, contributing to the advancement of legal knowledge and practice in the frontiers of Commercial and Corporate Law. It serves as a platform for rigorous academic discourse on contemporary and emerging Corporate legal issues in Nigeria, Africa, and around the globe.
The Journal publishes original articles, case notes, commentaries, and reviews from legal scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and postgraduate researchers. With a distinguished Editorial Advisory Board comprising eminent academics and practitioners, the Journal is committed to fostering critical engagement with the law and promoting scholarship that is both theoretically sound and practically relevant.

 AIM OF THE JOURNAL
The aim of the Ife Business Law Review Journal is to provide an authoritative and reputable forum for the publication of high-quality legal scholarship that advances understanding of the law in theory and practice.

SCOPE
The Journal welcomes manuscripts in Business law, with particular interest in: corporate finance, corporate governance, intellectual property law, Tax Law, Law of Contract, commercial law, commercial arbitration, international trade and investment law, E-Commerce & Digital Payment Platforms, Company Law, Employment and Labour law, Consumer Protection law and all other articles in the class of the foregoing. Manuscripts with interdisciplinary approaches are highly encouraged.
